Voidwars is a free web based multiplayer online strategy game. Starting off from your homeworld you must colonise other planets and create fleets of ships to fight enemy players. Research new technologies to help your empire expand and conquer and join up with friends to crush enemy alliances.
Set in a region of space known as the "void", you must expand from your colonised world and fight for control of the many planets and anomalies. Everything takes place in "real time" (game ticks occur once every 3 minutes) and a game can last from a few weeks to over a month.
Take a look at the manual and read the forums. Any questions feel free to sign up and ask on the forum. Once signed up you can join the trial game to try out the game and play around with the interface. If you like what you see then you can join any available open game.
